Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the software architecture of the live streaming platform, overseeing all technical aspects.

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions (AWS services).

• Collaborate with teams to define software architecture.

• Ensure smooth AWS integration for streaming functionalities.

• Provide mentorship and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Continuously improve app performance, scalability, and security.

• Analyse user requirements, define system specs, and ensure timely software delivery.

• Drive innovation in live streaming technology.

• Develop technical documentation and reports.

• Collaborate with project management to prioritise tasks and monitor progress.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in software architecture, with experience leading development teams.

• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation).

• Expertise in cloud architecture, live streaming protocols, and large-scale systems.

• Experience in real-time data processing and cloud-based media storage.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with live streaming apps or media platforms.

• Knowledge of video encoding/transcoding technologies.

• Familiarity with microservices and serverless computing.

• Expertise in managing the scalability and security of global platforms.

• Experience in troubleshooting live streaming issues.
