Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Company: UK-Based Software Company
Work Mode: Remote
Experience: 5+ Years (DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE)
Salary: BDT 180,000–220,000/Month
Working Hours: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Bangladesh Time)

🚀 Key Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, securing, and maintaining production infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform with reproducible and version-controlled environments.
• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, testing, deployment, and production release management.
• Implement container and image security, including vulnerability scanning, hardening, patching, and remediation.
• Maintain SFTP and data ingestion pipelines, including Databricks jobs.
• Build and maintain monitoring, observability, dashboards, and alerting systems to minimize downtime.
• Manage production environments, emergency deployments, production secrets, and security-sensitive operations..
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity, and Cyber Incident Response initiatives alongside the Service Delivery Manager.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong experience with Terraform and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven expertise managing production CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Docker/container security, image scanning, and remediation.
• Experience with SFTP-based data pipelines (Databricks experience is a strong advantage).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting platforms.
• Strong background in production incident management and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience handling production environments, secrets management, and security best practices.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance, Reinsurance, or other regulated financial services.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Security Certifications.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), or Cyber Incident Response (CIR).
