We’re looking for a YouTube Content Strategist to plan, script, and optimise high-retention videos that attract, educate, and convert our target audience. You’ll own the content strategy end-to-end—from research and scripting to analytics and A/B testing—to drive sustainable channel growth.
What You’ll Do
- Research trends, keywords, and competitors to uncover content opportunities.
- Write hooks, scripts, titles, and descriptions optimized for retention and CTR.
- Collaborate with editors/designers for smooth, on-time production.
- Review analytics weekly (CTR, retention, watch time) and iterate for growth.
- Run A/B tests on thumbnails, titles, and formats to improve performance.
- Maintain a content calendar and publish consistently.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2+ years’ experience in YouTube content strategy/production.
- Strong command of YouTube Studio analytics, Google Sheets & Docs.
- Solid grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention principles.
- Excellent English writing & speaking skills.
- Resourceful, creative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and quality.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus)
- Experience with Shorts strategy and vertical formats.
- Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy/VidIQ, Notion/Trello, and basic SEO.
- Basic editing knowledge (Premiere/Final Cut/CapCut) to brief editors better.
